HEART DISEASE

HOW BIG IS THE PROBLEM?

  • number 1 killer in Australia
  • 1 Australian dies every 11 minutes
  • affects 1 in 5 Australians ( 2 out of 3 families)
  • number 1 killer in US, UK and other developed countries.

Heart disease is a hidden killer because it is difficult to detect.

About 20% of people who get heart disease, the first evidence of the disease is a fatal heart attack without any symptoms.

HEART CHECK

DO YOU HAVE:

  • high blood pressure?
  • high cholesterol?
  • a history of heart disease in your family?
  • diabetes?   or,
  • are you overweight?

If you answered YES to any of the above, then you need a CASP test.

The Heart Centre uses the latest diagnostic tool to quantify heart disease.

WHAT WE DO

INITIAL TEST:

A CASP test will provide an overview of your arteries and give you a CASP score.

TREATMENT:
The treatment is based on the work of the Nobel Laureate Dr Ignarro who won the Nobel Prize for Medicine in 1998 for his work on nitric oxide (NO).

SECOND TEST:
We test again so you can see the improvement to your arteries. 95% of people to date  have shown an improvement.
